This month, three days away in Gloucestershire, soaking in the beauty of the Cotswolds and visiting gardens both great and small has refreshed and inspired me and I’ve returned home with a few irresistible plant acquisitions, fresh ideas for plant combinations and an illogical hankering for a ‘bespoke’ raspberry cage like the one shown here, photographed in the kitchen garden at Rockcliffe and a lead ‘Sissinghurst’ urn as seen at ‘Stone House’.

Very luckily for the bank balance I haven’t space in my garden for either!

There are many wonderful places to visit in the area including Hidcote Manor, Kiftsgate Court and Westonbirt and lovely places to stay including Clapton Manor and Wren House so if you haven’t done already, I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
