Enough of winter gloom...at the end of
what has been the most snowy of
Februarys, spring is just around the
corner!
My daily walk round the garden reveals
fresh signs of growth each morning and
the pots of spring bulbs that I planted up
last autumn are coming into their own at
last. Tips of late spring tulips and lilies
are showing too and I am starting to plan
my pot displays for the summer.
What better reason to show you this
deliciously unseasonal photo taken at
Whichford Pottery last June, where
needless to say, I couldn’t resist the
temptation to buy three of their fine
hand-made flower pots to add to my
collection of containers.
Frost-proof and made from local clay,
with a huge variety of shapes, sizes and
designs to choose from, I can guarantee
that should you visit you won’t be able to
leave empty handed either!
